Presentation Instructions

Podium presentations

All presentations are allocated a time slot. For each presentation’s specific time slot, please refer to https://trc-30.epfl.ch/program/.   The parallel session presenters can present for 16 minutes + 4 minutes for Q&A.

Kindly ensure that you keep to your allocated time. A practice run before the conference would be beneficial in tailoring your presentation to fit the 20-minute slot. We encourage you to focus on the new insights from your work and the insights. Rest assured, there will be technical support and assistance with the presentation technology, as well as help with distributing microphones during the Q&A session. It would be greatly appreciated if you could prepare your talk in PowerPoint or PDF format and upload it to the shared folder (The link will be updated later).

Please ensure that your presentation file is uploaded before your session so that it can be readily available on the conference PC.  As a precaution, we recommend you to also bring a copy of your presentation on a USB drive.

All presentations must be delivered in English. We kindly request that you arrive in the room at least 15 minutes before the start of your session. This time can be used to introduce yourself to the technical support team or assisting students, ensuring that they know you are present and can assist with uploading your presentation.

Poster presentations

TRC-30 will provide each presenter with a 100 cm wide by 250 cm high poster board. The usable board size is 95cm wide by 178 cm high. Double-sided tapes will be provided. Please ensure you bring a printed copy of your poster to the session. If you’d like to display additional information or visuals, you may use a computer or tablet, but please note that these devices must be used without sound. Since electrical outlets will not be available, it’s essential to have your electronic devices fully charged before the session begins.

We kindly ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the poster session to set up your materials. After the session concludes, please ensure that all your materials are promptly removed, as any remaining items will be discarded.
